My paintings take me around four hours on average, but I usually say how long in the description. Thank you very much and very glad I could inspire some fan art. :D

This is so unfair... so you're 18 right? Okay... I have - 4 years! To get to your level at drawing, other creative skills etc etc.
People I draw don't look like the people I'm drawing... Tips please?

Well, 19 this December. :)
Um, tips... tips tips tips... So you're 14? Dude, at 14 I was rubbish at drawing. Mostly because I thought that anime/manga style was the way to go, and I didn't draw anything interesting too often. Plus, I was distracted with being depressed. XD
Don't be discouraged if you don't like your art yet. With practice, you will. I've only started liking my stuff in the passed 3 years. Aha! Look! A helpful diagram of my progress! [link] Loads of practice DOES do something, it just takes a while.
So, I guess my tip is: DON'T STOP DRAWING and DON'T GIVE UP. (And don't try to draw anime, it only managed to keep me at the same drawing level for a LONG TIME.)
