Okay, maybe not the best, but it's up there. That little speck sitting up there is me, just a few weeks ago. It was a long and fun hike with lots of ropes to get in and out of the canyon-ish area and many opportunities to fall to my death. Hikes just aren't hikes unless you get injured, fall in a river, or feel you might die at some point. Or all three! Sometimes, I really love living where I do. I can't tell you where I live though, because my mum is paranoid about such things.
*reads other comments* yes pretty impressive I admit. though the other thing hiking needs is being able to see for miles from a suitable viewpoint. I seem to accidentally find bottles of whisky in snowholes or bogs as well.
*reads comments. shoots self to avoid ying of embarasment* ah. my mistake. looks a lot like chatreuse. although come to think of it, that was more just the sudden death climbing along ladders up cliffs and through caves, as opposed to a canyon. similar dissapearing-behind-the-waterfall though. and yes I can still make comments after shooting myself
And at first I thought it was Seljalandsfoss, this waterfall in Iceland, but it's much smaller.
You can still go behind it though
Funny how Scotland, Iceland and Canada can have such similar landscapes.
