OH SHERLOCK HOW I LOVE THEE.
This is not a recent revelation, but I thought it was time to express my love of the show (and Mr. Cumberbatch) in the form of a portrait.
Can't wait for the next series! Except Stephen Thompson's episode.

About three hours of work, 4B pencil on white paper, highlights and colour effects done in Photoshop. Tutorial here: fav.me/d36e1zu (What's not covered in the tutorial is the gradient map I applied, which gives it the spiffy colours. That's just in Image>Adjustments>Gradient Map)
