I'll say it all again: So I've been playing a lot of Doctor Who: Worlds in Time lately, and I'm getting a bit annoyed with the set of seven NPC assistants you are randomly assigned three of for each mission you partake in. Why annoyed? They have no backstories, no personalities, no motivation, no NOTHIN. They just... help. Silently. And normally I wouldn't mind, since that's pretty standard for randomly generated NPCs that help you out when none of your friends are online, but the thing is... they're not random. I mean, it's random which three you get, but it's always the same group of seven. Silas of Cheem, Mal and Meera the Catkind, Darren and Noma the Silurians, and Camille and Gethin of... well, they're just human. SO it seems a bit odd to me that we have here a set of quite deliberate characters... that have no character. I know the game's just in Beta (or whatever) so I hope they add some backstories for these guys later.
This was SO FUN to do. I like these characters a lot more now. I encourage fanfiction about these guys and I'd love to read it. It'd be cool to see what people could come up with while the slate is blank and the possibilities endless.
I decided not to do individual deviations for each character. The group shot is far more exciting I think.
Played this when it came out, had a Tree named Limblock. My sister got further than I did tho, it never ran properly on my computer. Anyways, 5 stars and all that, well done!
Aww. Well, you oughtta stop by again sometime! 'course, that's coming from someone who rarely goes on anymore as it is, anyways. I've yet to complete very many missions. There was a small group of intelligent people on, for a bit, that I used to speak with, but it seems they've finally scrammed, too. It's a bit sad. u___u
