My Heart in Hiding

The lovely Mr. John Simm as Danny Kavanagh from the lovely program The Lakes way back in 1997. One of my favourite programs of all time, even though the second series was a bit forced and Simm's character went way out of character and I just didn't care anymore.
The first season is great, basically. Please go watch it, just make sure you're old enough to handle the sex etc. Definitely NSFW.

Done in pencil on white paper, then taken into Corel Painter, where I added the highlights and made the paper grey (Tutorial here: [link]).

The title is taken from a poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins that Danny reads in the first episode because I couldn't think of anything.

I caught this morning morning's minion, king-
dom of daylight's dauphin, dapple-dawn-drawn Falcon, in his riding
Of the rolling level underneath him steady air, and striding
