Well, WHO WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS immediately after some Half-Life fanart? Portal was the first Valve game I played, and it was really love at first zot. Cannot express my appreciation for this game's attention to detail, story, humour, and really fun and original problem solving.

OH SWEET LORD THIS TOOK FOREVER. About seven or eight hours of work in Photoshop. Whew. Agh. Hand.... Guh. But so worth it.

Looking at reference pics of Chell for the passed few hours... anyone think she's...? Well she just could very easily be... I mean they never said, in Half-Life, what had happened to...
No? Naaah.

PLEASE NOTE: That I'd really really like you to comment on the art if you could, and not just how much you love Portal. Cheers.

Her face is kinda like "Wtf is this?"

Brain damage, dear Chell. Brain damage.

The lines are distractingly thick around the sleeves to the jumper tied around her waist. That's just where my eyes go when i look at her D: To be a nit picky and annoying bastard, i would suggest curving the 'aperture science' logo on her t-shirt to follow the curve of her boob a tiny bit near the end of the word.

What I do like is everything else, pretty much is the pose, the expression and the well set out background. The pose indicates she's prepared for anything, it's dynamic, it's aethetically pleasing and it works very well with the composition. The expression plays with the humour/serious business element of the game, which I'm saying is well selected and well crafted, since she seems completely crazy and silly, but she's totally serious at the same time. Good job. And the BACKGROUND. You have so many objects and ideas all at once, all co-ordinated into this simple background. Hang on, let me count: something like 10-15 objects (if you count Chell and the companion cube and the gun and the shoes and the--) into this one bg. So OMFG welldone of a well composed piece-- nothing's too distracting from the main focus and nothings disappearing aimlessly.

There is just something about how you do eyes that I love. They always have this look like they are crazy and yet completely serious at the same time.

I never play Portal but I watch my brother play it all the time.

This is a fantastic drawing! Everything is super-detailed but it's totally recognizable as your style!

This whole thing is absolutely brilliant! Is there any chance of upcoming Wheatley fanart?
