Description

Been meaning to do this shot for aaaaggeeeessssss.
Didn't have my usual traditional resources today, so this one is done COMPLETELY digitally. Not sure how much I like that. Anyway, just an experimental sketch to see if Painter can do what my pencils can. Enjoy!
(The shot is taken from Series 3 Episode 3, The Shakespeare Code.)

Let me tell you, I have been a Doctor Who fan since the ninth doctor. Even without facial features, I can tell this is David Tennant. It is usually quite difficult for artist, as I have seen, to be able to capture realistic images of models without using facial features, and I feel you captured this perfectly.

I do have a suggestion, that is generally stylistic - I would like to have seen more in the background. I feel like it is too bland for the Doctor. This is a very cliche idea, but maybe - in the black area - a image of stars, and the tardis would be a great addition, something to make the piece really pop!

A great piece, from a great artist!
