This dark piece of fiction was the first entry in the contest and came straight out of left field. I admire its originality and simplicity.

"The Beginning of the End"Slipping the author's friends into the existing issues of Search for the Truth absolutely effortlessly, this fic surprised me. SFTT already dances on the edge of 'too many original characters' but this fic pulled it off seamlessly.

HouseofDoom for "Of Dropped Plot Lines and Bad Characterization"
This fic is so good, I literally can't show it to you. It managed to predict many of the things to come in SFTT (which is why it won't be posted) and add some comedy and action that kept me laughing on the edge of my seat. Beautifully done Carrie and I'm genuinely sorry I can't show it to you all until it becomes un-spoilery.
